Deepika Padukone Closes The 2019 Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival In Gauri and Nainika

The 2019 Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival came to a close last week in Mumbai.

The chairperson, Deepika Padukone, took to the red carpet for the closing ceremony, going from a pretty pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown, to a look with plenty of frills, yet no tulle.

I adore the idea of this Gauri and Nainika Fall 2019 look, for its modern and sophisticated slant on formalwear.

But those trousers.  The fit is quite unforgivable.
