Jorja Smith Showcases Up-And-Coming Designer Patrycja Pagas At The Mercury Prize

Jorja Smith attended the 2019 Mercury Prize on Thursday (September 19), where she was one of the judges for the Best Album prize, following her front row appearance at the Burberry show during London Fashion Week.

We may be having an Indian summer in London, but the nights are cold, so this after-dark look from the up-and-coming Warsaw-based designer, Patrycja Pagas set the mood for the singers’ continuously evolving style.

At first, this look reminded me of Lady Gaga’s third look from Kaimin worn during her HAUS LABORATORIES launch, but actually, Jorja’s looks is more detailed with the built in corset.

Jorja’s look takes on a whole new dimension when styled with a skirt and turned up sleeves.

I love how her stylist was able to create a new vision for this look to make it instantly wearable, yet still maintain the designer fashion forward edge.

René Caovilla ‘Cleo Binari’ sandals and David Morris jewels completed her look.
