Front Row @ Ralph Lauren Fall 2019

When it comes to front rows during New York Fashion Week, they don’t come much chicer than Ralph Lauren.

On Sunday (September 8), the brand held their Fall 2019 runway show.

The show was a modern nod to the glamorous New York nightlife of the 1930’s, to which the celebrity guests evoked with their black-tie looks.

Cate Blanchett:   I’ll say it again.  She’s in a league of her own.  There’s such power and femininity oozing from this custom Ralph Lauren Collection jumpsuit.  The skirt/trouser combo made this instantly modern.  Ralph Lauren Collection jewels completed her look.

Henry Golding:  You know how I feel about velvet, and Henry Golding; so you’ll know that the British actor took my breath away in this Ralph Lauren Purple Label suit, which was cut to perfection.  It’s not easy to be this consistent, (some would argue that his red Valentino suit was a blip on his path of consistency) but he nails it every time for me. Elegance is just ingrained within him. 

Poppy Delevingne: The model used the event to showcase her new bangs (fringe).  They did nothing to distract me from her gorgeous Ralph Lauren Collection white sequin and feather dress, which was very much on theme.

Kathryn Newton: Also going the sequin and feather route, was Kathryn Newton.  With ease this dress translates retro glitz and glamour, with the short hem bringing about playful opulence.
