Lady Gaga wasn’t the only one with multiple looks at the 2019 Met Gala on Monday (May 6) in New York City. While Cody Fern didn’t disrobe on the pink carpet, he did offer up two distinct ensembles — both from the Maison Margiela Artisanal Men’s by John Galliano Spring 2019 collection.
No ordinary beige suit, this one went to bold new territory — the wild west — with a provocative interpretation on the sartorial standard. The gauzy chiffon overlay and black gloves something of a sinister effect, as perhaps is suiting to his former ‘American Horror Story’ role.
The turquoise neck piece and cowboys boots checked the camp box, to be sure, with added piercing effect thanks to his steely blue gaze and stylized tendrils of hair.
At the Boom Boom Afterparty, Cody wore a second gender-bending ensemble — although this one could not have been more different. With gelled hair still in place, he went from west to east with this fiery red, geisha-inspired number.
I love how he committed to the character or both looks from head to toe.
