VH1 Trailblazer Honors

Mindy Kaling and Ava DuVernay joined Rita Ora at the VH1 Trailblazer Honors event on Wednesday (February 20) in Los Angeles, California.

Mindy Kaling: The actress wasn’t pictured on the red carpet, however she shared her Reem Acra dress with her 3.8 million followers on Instagram. This was a striking choice in bold red with a knotted tie that breathes texture into the satin finish. Not only do I love the Norman Silverman jewels and maroon lip, but all those gorgeous bags in her closet.

Ava DuVernay: The director has a great relationship with Prada. On this occasion her custom orange cady gown accented with a mock neckline and monochrome belt was supremely chic and flattering. Ava has always championed bold colours, but this one is exceptionally divine.
