Pre-wedding, Meghan Markle was giving us plenty of outwear inspo with her oatmeal Smythe coat, white Line coat, navy Mackage coat, Burberry checked coat and black Stella McCartney coat, but Kerry Washington proved you can make a bigger statement in colour, and still be versatile.

On Monday, before her guest appearance on ‘The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’ in New York City, the actress stepped out wearing a stunning millennial pink Mansur Gavriel Fall 2018 coat.

The coat is really the hero piece, but her smart separates which included black J Brand ‘Alana’ jeans, a baby pink Tanya Taylor ‘Katerina’ knit Resort 2019 sweater and matching baby pink Stuart Weitzman ‘Juniper’ booties combined to create a look that was feminine, edgy and cozy all at once.

Needless to say, I’m inspired by this wonderful mix, and fully on-board with it from head-to-toe, including her Fendi shades.
