Katy Perry In Galia Lahav Couture – QVC ‘FFANY Shoes Gala

Katy Perry In Galia Lahav - QVC 'FFANY Shoes Gala

When I saw Katy Perry at the 25th Annual QVC ‘FFANY Shoes on Sale’ Gala on Thursday (October 11) in New York City, the words, “where do I start?” spring to mind.

The Positives:
• This Galia Lahav ‘Shirley Temple’ jumpsuit from the latest ‘And God Created Woman’ Couture collection looked great on the runway.

The Negatives:

• This jumpsuit feels too girlish on Katy

• There is way too much pink going on. Even if there was a chance of this working, she overcooked the pink with the headband, gloves, nails and pumps.

• The hair. God lord the hair. Was this the cheapest looking wig she could find?

• The bodice. I mean, the under boobage is so supremely tacky, we need a new word for tacky. This was the major fault of the look, and at this point when she looked at herself in the mirror and panned to the chest, the next words to her stylist should’ve been, “what other options do we have?”

If you find anymore positives or negatives, please feel free to share in the comments below.

Kallati pink sapphire and peach morganite jewels completed her look.

What in the fresh hell is this

Another celebrity ruining a beautiful dress with bad styling. I love it on model and runway.

I’m not surprised, she’s consistently one of the worst dressed celebrities. She refuses to not dress like an oversexed teenager.

It’s definitely helped on the catwalk by the contrasting belt and shoes.

It looks like Katie’s wearing the bandeau top too high – if it was hitched down a bit it might work better. If it’s too tight to hitch down… then don’t wear it!

What it looks like online vs what it looks like in real life. Sad times.

LOL. Exactly. It looks amazing on the runway, but it’s obviously sized and designed for a less-endowed figure. Katy’s under-boob effect is tacky and does not compliment her figure.

      Her wig….speechless.

I think her hairstyle might be the most offensive part of this.

Positive-i had to do a double-take as I first thought it was Jennifer Lawrence

Actually I don’t find it that bad. It’s very Katy Perry. Tacky as hell, but Katy Perry.

I think that sans train and sleeves, but with the silver belt it could have been an acceptable jumpsuit that Bella Hadid would have really rocked.

How tragic, it looks beautiful on the runway but a cheap knockoff on Katy

  13. Rashmi October 12, 2018 at 7:16 pm #

What a mess of such a dramatic unique creation we saw on the runway. Also, I had to double check if it really is Katy Perry!
Ugh the ugliest wig and the weirdest under boob thing she did there with the top. I am crying, just why why why!

Oh just when I thought I had my WDOTY of 2018 locked down to either Rita Ora or Chloë Grace Moretz, Katy sweeps in with a serious contender. By the way, this jumpsuit is not at all girlish unless girlish is a code word for ugly.

      I love this comment.

    • Karola October 12, 2018 at 9:59 pm #

I don’t like it either. And I think that part of the problem (uglyness aside) is that it was designed for flat-chested women: in the runway, the top fold covers the breasts completely; this is obviously not the case with Katy. The other part of the problem is that she saw this and decided to wear the jumpsuit anyway.

      100% agree
