Rachel Brosnahan Wore Armani Privé To The ‘Superman’ London Premiere

Rachel Brosnahan attended the Superman London premiere this evening at Cineworld Leicester Square, marking the film’s first European stop on the press tour—and she made sure the spotlight stayed firmly on Lois Lane.

With temperatures already high, Rachel raised them even further in a maroon Armani Privé Spring 2025 one-shoulder gown embroidered with Miyuki micro-baguette beading. The asymmetrical cut-outs no doubt provided some much-needed ventilation on a 77-degree evening, while the delicate beaded floral appliqués added texture and dimension to the look.

Some might question whether maroon feels a little wintery for a July premiere, but on Rachel, the colour looked rich and radiant. It worked beautifully with her complexion, bringing out the warmth in her skin and adding an elegant depth that made this feel less out-of-season and more timeless. Not every summer red carpet needs to be about pastels and florals—this was a grown-up, sophisticated take on sultry.

So far, we’ve had red in Manila, a blue-leaning moment in Rio, and now this gorgeous deep maroon in London. That leaves just one shade left to complete my Superman press tour bingo card: yellow. And considering how incredible Rachel looked in that custom Prada at the 2019 Golden Globes, I’ll be keeping fingers crossed for a golden finale.
