‘Vita & Virginia’ Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

'Vita & Virginia' Toronto International Film Festival Premiere

Elizabeth Debicki and Gemma Arterton were joined by director Chanya Button for the ‘Vita & Virginia’ premiere during the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday (September) in Canada.

Elizabeth Debicki: The Australian actress graced the red carpet wearing Schiaparelli Fall 2018 Haute Couture white embroidered dress with a cheetah motif of velvet and golden beads which prevented her from looking washed out. I adore the lilac eye makeup with this look, and the fact that she opted out of the gloved sleeves. She is was picture perfect as always. Did you prefer this look over her Armani Prive?

Gemma Arterton: The peek-a-boo design of Christopher Kane meant the mood for Gemma’s look felt very sensual, yet oh-so chic. I love how the Le Silla adds yet more dynamism and complements the buckle details on her dress.

Chanya Button: A strong nautical theme was felt from this Amanda Wakeley shimmering blue and gold dress, yet it didn’t feel costumey.

Elizabeth is my favourite here, but I prefer her Armani look.

Elizabeth is again amazing! But I I’d have to choose the Armani, because it looked like it was from the Golden Age of Hollywood. (Wouldn’t mind seeing more options, though!)

Oh Gemma. That face could sail a thousand ships. Her carriage is always perfect too so she makes everything she wears look like art.

Debicki as usual is a statuesque goddess.

I would have added a pink lip to Elizabeth for a little pop but like Chris I’m torn about which I prefer, the Schiaparelli is more unique but the Armani Prive was classic elegance and glamour. Gemma looks sexy in a cool manner. I don’t like Chanya’s dress.

    No, no and no.

Like the version Elizabeth wore. Jaime King is drowning in that dress.

I love Gemma and Elizabeth and I’m so glad she went without the sleeves, tho I still prefer her Armani look.

Emma looks fab and I love the dress. I do prefer the Armani on Elizabeth over the Schiaparelli which looks diseased.

Elizabeth and Gemma both look pretty amazing. I’m not sure which of Elizabeth’s looks I prefer, this one is a little more original, but you can’t beat the glamour of a good Armani Privé.
