‘First Man’ Venice Film Festival Premiere & Opening Ceremony

There were many more models who joined Sara Sampaio and a host of stars including Naomi Watts and Claire Foy on the red carpet for the opening ceremony and the ‘First Man’ premiere during the 2018 Venice Film Festival today (August 29) in Italy.

Gabriella Wilde: Couture can often conjure up images of princess frou frou gowns, or piece that is decked out in embellishments, but this Ulyana Sergeenko Couture red gown has just as much impact, if not more, with its simple, effortless design. The look was styled with a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch.

Lottie Moss: Kate Moss’ sister was one of the many who opted for pink tonight. Her Ermanno Scervino bustier dress in draped tulle had a sheerness which managed to stave away any bubblegum saccharine vibes. With her René Caovilla ‘Cleo Maxi Strass’ sandals, she didn’t really need any jewelry.

Izabel Goulart: Having opened the festival in a sheer frock, the model opted for shimmering glamour wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2018 lame gown with matching sandals. Deepika Padukone wore the gold version of this dress during Cannes Film Festival.

Annabelle Belmondo: While I do wish the model had worn her hair up, I simple adore the boudoir vibe I’m getting from her baby blue Ermanno Scervino bustier gown.

Georgina Rodriguez: Having just moved to Italy following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus, the model – who just had her first child with the footballer – attended her first Venice Film Festival red carpet event. Not shy at all, the model dared to bare in this lace Twinset strapless gown.

Barbara Palvin: While Sara Sampaio was serving up movie star glamour, Barbara’s Armani Privé Spring 2018 dress had a more playful vibe imbued by the colours, the bubble hem and ultra mini length of her dress.

Charlotte Le Bon: I’m tempted to say this Toile de Jouy figures printed Christian Dior Resort 2019 suit is too casual for the event – which it is – but she’s totally selling the look to me. The look was styled with a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch.

Fiammetta Cicogna: The thing about this Philosophy di Lorenzo Serafini Pre-Fall 2018 dress is that you had to catch it from the right angle. Such was the volume that in some images the skirt was slightly overwhelming.
