Michelle Williams: Many probably won’t be surprised to see the actress wearing Louis Vuitton. What is surprising is the plunging neckline and lack of embellishment on the piece. Normally when she wears darker colours, there’s some whimsical detail to brighten it up. I’m missing her ethereal charm here because the belt isn’t doing enough. It feels very washed out.
Meghan Trainor: The singer put her own twist on the dark colour palette with flared trousers and a white crop top. I love her confidence in the ensemble and how she elevated the pieces to glamorous heights with her jewels and bob. The pants might be just a hair too long.
Gillian Jacobs: The ‘Love’ actress punctuated the black colour palette with a printed dress by Sandro. The shorter hemline prevented the pattern from becoming overwhelming. Every detail tied into the design from the clutch to the shoes to her lipstick.
Emily Ratajkowski: Showing some toned stomach in a Michael Kors Collection Spring 2018 gown, the model-actress worked every inch of her look. The cut-out is very much in her wheelhouse and it succeeds in breaking up the black sequins. Giuseppe Zanotti Sophie sandals provided a cohesive finish.
