Ruth Negga In Louis Vuitton – Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards 2017

Ruth Negga joined a host of stars including Hayley Atwell, Gemma Arterton, Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster for the Harper’s Bazaar Women Of The Year Awards in London on Thursday (November 2).

With this being her fourth Louis Vuitton look in a row, I think it’s safe to say she’s part of the LV family.

The British actress showcased her sartorial style by making this Spring 2018 look her own.

While Jennifer Connelly tends to stick with a head-to-toe runway look, Ruth took the hero piece – the brocade frock coat – and teamed it with simple, chic staples plus an LV gold clutch.

This might just be my favourite look from this collection. I love how she’s streamlined it and made it easily wearable.

It’s a good look on her, but for some reason it is not exciting my at all. Boring doesn’t seem like the right word, but it’s very uninspiring to me.

I love this on Ruth and the petite treasure chest clutch is fun; great styling and a BDOTW contender.

She looks cool. Love the styling. Hopefully she doesnt just stick with LV though and keeps expanding her fashion.

I hope she doesn’t get stuck in a LV rut. The coat is nice with the embroidery and I like that she mixed it up styling wise.

    Nice. She avoided LV overload.

I think Ruth is actually Irish, not British.

But I definitely agree, this is the best look I’ve seen from this collection! So pretty.
