#REVOLVEawards

There were head-turning looks aplenty at the #REVOLVEawards in Hollywood, California on Thursday (November 2).

Nicole Richie: The designer shone in a House of Harlow 1960 Sabrina dress. The rich emerald green fabric had disco leanings, but the relaxed wrap silhouette and dropped sleeves added a luxe bohemian feel. I could have done without the necklace or the earrings as the belt and green eyeshadow made such a statement, but overall this had a wonderful effect.

Teyana Taylor: Proving that simplicity doesn’t have to be boring, the actress smoldered with her NBD x Revolve Aldon gown. She played up the gold buttons on her hip with chunky gold jewellery. If I had to nitpick, I wish the gown had been shortened an inch or so.

Chrissy Teigen: The model showed off her Chrissy Teigen x Revolve Jet Lag maxi dress from her recent collaboration with the retailer. The inky style is both formal and relaxed at the same time thanks to the velvet and metallic accents against the soft wrap style.

Elsa Hosk: The Swedish model channeled decades gone by in a LPA 626 gown. Her modified version removed the off-the-shoulder straps and lowered the neckline for a sexier finish. The way it stays up speaks to the skilled tailoring of the piece. That being said, I would have liked to see it raised just a hair.

Romee Strijd: Looking breezy in NBD, the Dutch model’s blue gown had a sultry bohemian flair thanks to the flowing skirt and the white lace appliques strewn across the piece.

Hailey Baldwin: The model also wore a LPA 626 dress, but the shortened version of Elsa’s. The mini hemline gave the style a completely different feel, as did her styling. The layered gold necklaces against the red lip and soft waves masterfully mixed elements of vintage and modern.

Camila Coelho: Making a statement in red, the Brazilian blogger donned a Fame and Partners x Revolve Rita dress. The bow could have come off as twee, but its shape and the structured dress give the detail a sophisticated finish. The delicate sandals and dangling earrings enhanced the effect.

Jasmine Tookes: The American model combined masculine suiting with high-octane shine with her NBD ensemble. The oversized black jacket tempered the sparkle of the crop top and sexy skirt, but the outfit still retained a formal feel.

Draya Michelle: The model and actress showed off her sensational figure in a H:ours Ruby dress. What appeared to be a sequined column dress from the front opens up on the one side for a sultry finish. Her sleek waves and black-rimmed eyes added a retro allure to the frock.

Chanel Iman: Shimmering from head to toe, the model was in full party mode with this embellished dress and metallic clutch. I’m enamored with the way the frock not only picks up the light but it also plays up her skin tone.

Ashley Tisdale: The actress was in a darker mood as evidenced by this inky ensemble. It played off her hair and successfully combined edgy and schoolgirl elements, but the proportions are where it let me down slightly. I wish the sleeves had been taken in as they dwarf the details on the bust.

Shay Mitchell: Va-va-voom! The former ‘Pretty Little Liars’ actress went dark and sexy in a H:ours x Revolve Branden dress. The lace-up detail across the body certainly was impactful, but she elevated it with her smoky makeup and the chain details on her sandals.
