Natalia Vodianova’s annual Fabulous Fund Fair for The Naked Heart Foundation traveled to New York City for the first time in partnership with amfAR on Saturday (October 28). Guests did not shirk their costume duties, either, for the Halloween-themed bash that saw a range of extravagant outfits.
Natalia Vodianova: There was no danger of missing the Naked Heart founder in the crowd, as she was the life-size incarnation of a Jeff Koons sculpture in her Andrey Bartenev balloon-esque design, further amped up by green Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2018 boots.
Naomi Campbell: There was almost more dress in the supermodel’s headdress than in her actual metallic-laced mini from The Blonds Fall 2017 collection.
Izabel Goulart: The model may have been channeling a Frida Kahlo-like spirit, but her Christian Dior Spring 2018 sheer embellished confection was very much within her go-to sexy style. Chopard jewels completed the look that was on the Red Carpet Wish List for Diane Kruger.
Dree Hemingway: I’m not exactly sure what Dree was dressing up as here. But, her polka-dot Givenchy Spring 2018 dress could have been inspired by Yayoi Kusama’s dotted oeuvre with the boots adding a distinctly mod cowgirl flair. You may remember this look was ironically also on the Red Carpet Wish List for Diane Kruger.
Charli XCX: I could easily envision the entertainer in this Redemption Fall 2017 plunge gown on any occasion—sans the additional Halloween-centric vampire bite and blood.
Maria Borges: Not only did the model’s Balmain Fall 2017 golden embellished mini have the Midas touch, she gave it plenty of spooky seduction in her coloured contact lenses. The smoky purple hue of her Balmain x L’Oréal Paris Color Riche Lipstick in ‘Freedom’ only intensified the haunted glamour.
Karlie Kloss: Playing dress-up as Marilyn Monroe, Karlie provided a good doppelganger effect with her classic white La Perla dress and platinum locks. She styled her look with a Louis Vuitton clutch and Gianvito Rossi silver sandals.
