Heidi Klum In Zac Posen – 2015 Bambi Awards

Heidi Klum In Zac Posen - 2015 Bambi Awards

Heidi Klum attended the 2015 Bambi Awards this evening (November 12) in Berlin, Germany.

We all know Zac Posen makes some pretty amazing gowns, however, this dramatic, floor-sweeping masterpiece – which rendered me in goose bumps from head to toe – ranks highly as one of his greatest ever creations.

What makes it even more spectacular is Heidi.

I don’t need to check back on her looks this year to confirm that without doubt, this her best of 2015.

Styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and elegant bun, I have to wonder why she doesn’t pull out this brilliance on a more consistent basis.

Please gimme a moment while I am collecting my jaw. May I even vote BDOTW for her, just what’s going on? She looks truly fantastic, I wouldn’t change a single thing.

WOW. Just wow. This is one of the BDOTY looks for sure. This is BREATHTAKING. Stunning. Deserves a billion of applauses.

This is epic, one of her best looks ever! BDOTY

  5. Priscila November 13, 2015 at 1:50 pm #

Jennifer Lawrence should have worn this to the Mockingjay Berlin Premiere 🙁

I can’t believe my eyes! Please stick to this dear Heidi since Versace is clearly not working for you.

For those wondering why she chose to wear a dress like this to the Bambi Awards… Bambi is the German version of the Emmys and one of the biggest and most prestige award shows we have in Germany. So she is not overdressed.

I love the color and Heidi hasn’t looked that great in a long time but I don’t know what to think of the cut of the bodice and the necklace was too much.

This is why it’s frustrating to see her in tacky Versace. She looks gorgeous here. Elegant, without a hint of try-hard. BDOTW worthy.

I didn’t even know she could dress this well. I’m amazed. This is a lovely elegant look, she should do this more often.

That awkward moment when Heidi Klum lands a spot on my BDOTY folder.

    • Bfly November 13, 2015 at 8:59 am #

      Lol! True.

  12. Dee November 13, 2015 at 1:25 am #

She looks beautiful. Easily a bdotw contender.

This is beautiful and quite possibly BDOTY so far. Maybe she can be BDOTY and WDOTY for that Versace dress that she wore to the Emmys. Now that would be an amazing feat.

What a wonderful surprise to see Heidi not only dressing her age, but looking positively elegant as well. This gown is glorious on her. I love the color and she did just the right amount of jewels, and kept the hair/makeup simple and pretty. A rare win for Ms.Klum.

Wow! Gorgeous rich colour, perfect dramatic full skirt and waist-accenting silhouette – spectacular. Her polished presentation is flawless as well, even the necklace works nicely – it tastefully enhances the look. She is perfect, a strong contender for BDOTW.

Gorgeous–this is a BDOTY contender in my opinion. It has max impact.

    • Chris November 13, 2015 at 12:17 am #

Yeah, I wouldn’t have expected Heidi Klum to make it onto my BDOTY list, but I guess I might add her as well. 😀

    • cherrysoftness November 13, 2015 at 1:42 am #

She has the distinct honor of being in the best and worst 😛

      So true!! Love this…..

  18. Christine November 13, 2015 at 12:07 am #

Her best look! She looks stunning.

I’m just wondering, where were the go big moments at the Oscars, during Cannes, etc., why does everyone suddenly start going big for the.. Bambi Awards of all award shows?^^ I feel like both Heidi and Rita are technically overdressed, but I’m not actually going to complain about that.

This is SO much better than what Heidi usually wears. I’m not sure about the construction of the bust area, but I think I should overlook that considering how great this gown looks. And it’s such a nice color. Pretty stunning.

    • Catherine Kallon November 13, 2015 at 12:08 am #

Such a good point…where were these gowns during Oscar, Cannes? I share your frustration.

      • Christine November 13, 2015 at 12:45 am #

I share your frustration too! I agree.

      • Zineb November 13, 2015 at 2:17 am #

+ 1 My first thought exactly! The Oscars / Cannes / Golden Globes have been massively underwhelming these past couple of years. Where were these gowns when we needed them?

    • moonbeam November 13, 2015 at 12:28 am #

I think celebrities and stylists tend to “overthink” the big events (like the Oscars, Cannes, Golden Globe Awards, The Met Gala) because there’s so much pressure and press associated with those events. I’m so tired of seeing celebrities in standard beaded champagne/beige column gowns at The Oscars or GGs. But then for “lower-profile” events like The Bambi awards, they’re willing to take more risks and try more interesting looks because the stakes (so to speak) are lower. That’s my theory!

    • CreoleLady November 13, 2015 at 3:40 am #

Agree. This “wow” moment is Cannes-worthy. I don’t get it either.

    • ayatlaw November 13, 2015 at 6:03 pm #

+6 I totally agree! I don’t understand the underwhelming dressing factor of the larger more prestigious events. However this may be the best Heidi has looked in YEARS!

  20. gabis November 13, 2015 at 12:01 am #

I’m not exactly crazy about the bust design but a breathtaking look nonetheless. Bravo, Heidi. BDOTW worthy.

  21. Marcel November 13, 2015 at 12:00 am #

I love the colour and the quite unusual cut of the bodice. She does look stunning and I agree that this is her best outing in a long long time.
