Menswear Red Carpet Roundup
The past few days have been filled with a range of menswear looks—from traditional to trendsetting. Here, a look at the highlights.
Channing Tatum: The actor attended the 26th annual GLAAD Media Awards, held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (March 21) in California. Looking dapper in a dark Prada three-piece suit with contrasting navy tie, he and his striking wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, only heightened each other’s respective hot factor.
David Beckham: For the presentation of the new ‘Modern Essentials by H&M’ collection at the H&M Gran Via store in Madrid, Spain on Friday (March 20), Becks naturally wore an H&M ensemble paired with adidas sneakers. The classic suit separates paired with a relaxed T-shirt was sporty and simple with the crisp pop of white from the shoes, yet I do wish there were fewer visible creases in the pants. That more robust beard will also take some getting used to, as I barely recognize the soccer stud with it.
Brad Goreski: The ‘Fashion Police’ star was also at the GLAAD Media Awards, donning a Valentino skinny brown suit with contrasting Christian Louboutin flats, which was perfectly in keeping with his spirited, cheeky style. I love the whimsical personality of the flutter of colourful butterflies and the additional pop from the three-tone shoes.
Bradley Cooper: The actor brought a relaxed, dressed-down style to the ‘Serena’ screening on Saturday (March 21) in New York City, where he was joined by Jennifer Lawrence. His Thom Sweeney slate suit was effortlessly handsome with that baby-blue, button-down shirt matching his eyes. Did you miss a tie?
Jim Parsons: It’s always great to see a departure from black and navy in menswear, and Jim obliged by wearing an Ermenegildo Zegna ensemble at the premiere of ‘HOME’ at Regency Village Theatre on Sunday (March 22) in Westwood, California. He looked sharp in this light-brown plaid, notch-lapel suit paired with a light burgundy shirt and burgundy tie that worked beautifully with the tones of the plaid.
John Hamm: Although Jon took a more traditional route in his dark suit and midnight-navy tie at the ‘Mad Men’ screening on Sunday (March 22) in New York City with January Jones, Elisabeth Moss, and Christina Hendricks, he was no less debonair for it.
