Salma Hayek In Alexander McQueen – Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty Exhibition Private View
Salma Hayek attended the private view for the ‘Alexander McQueen: Savage Beauty’ exhibition held at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Thursday (March 12) in London, England.
With all due respect, Salma and high fashion haven’t always been a successful pairing despite her first lady of fashion credentials, but on this occasion she looked breathtaking wearing an Alexander McQueen Fall 2008 lace embroidered tulle ‘Peacock’ dress.
Some might disagree, saying she’s too short to carry this look off and wishing for the likes of Erin O’Connor or someone equally as statuesque to wear this look, but when you consider Salma’s Golden Globes look with the OTT styling, this is much improved.
While I do love this look, I wish the hair was totally slicked back, but my feeling is that this style was created to mimic the volume of the skirt.
Boucheron jewels and a McQueen clutch accessorized her look.
Was this look a success, or was this too much gown for the actress?
