Sarah Paulson Continues Her Love Affair With Textured Skirts in Balenciaga

Sarah Paulson was spotted heading to ABC Studios in New York City on Thursday, where she was promoting American Horror Story: 13.

Looking at Sarah Paulson in this Balenciaga look, I had a sense of déjà vu, in the best possible way, because what Sarah doesn’t know about a textured skirt isn’t worth knowing.

I could list all the examples, but I fear that would take up most of my day. There’s her feathered Michael Kors look from last month, her Bottega Veneta ensemble from the All’s Fair LA premiere and the fringed leather Bottega Veneta look from the Hold Your Breath press tour. But my personal favourite remains the yellow leather fringed Bottega Veneta skirt she wore to the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.

This latest outing continues that love affair, with an oversized white T-shirt paired with a feather-like midi skirt.

I love the contrast here. The extravagance of the skirt makes the simplicity of the T-shirt feel like an inspired styling choice, while the playful David Webb earrings are exactly the kind of unexpected accessory I enjoy seeing on Sarah.

My only complaint? Those black Balenciaga Duchesse pumps.

I’ve yet to see these shoes on anyone and find them appealing. And against an otherwise all-white ensemble, they’re even harder to ignore. They stick out like a sore thumb, and unfortunately, not in a good way.
