Elle’s 21st Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a roundup of the rest of the attendees from Elle’s 21st annual Women In Hollywood celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (October 20) in Beverly Hills, California.

Renee Zellweger: I honestly didn’t recognise Renee. It’s the hair that threw me: for such a long time the actress has been perfect from the neck down, never paying much attention to her hair; however on this occasion her golden locks were teased into lovely waves. Dressed in a Carolina Herrera LBD with lace sleeves, the look was styled with gold accessories for a festive flourish.

Bella Thorne: The teen star wore a mustard-hued Gucci Fall 2014 dress styled with a mish-mash of accessories including nude peep-toes and a black clutch. I think black sandals would’ve worked better here.

Liberty Ross: The model wore a vintage Versace black dress with a plunging neckline and sexy open back, plus a tan leather panel around the waist which is throwing me off liking this look. Most bizarre addition. Especially when you see it from the back.

Kaley Cuoco: Working an even shorter pixie cut, the actress kept her look simple and, dare I say, boring in this Paule Ka LBD with matching pumps.

Teyonah Parris: The ‘Mad Men’ star wore a black crop top and shorts styled with a Stella McCartney Resort 2014 blazer that we’ve seen before on Cate Blanchett. The look comes together nicely with the black and gold toecap pumps; however, I’m unsure about the shorts.

Bellamy Young: The ‘Scandal’ actress swept up those lovely brunette tresses into a high bun while donning a pretty striped dress from Talbot Runhof’s Fall 2014 collection. The look was kept interesting with contrasting accessories including green Jimmy Choo suede pumps and a silver Rauwolf clutch.

Katie Low: Print and colour was also Katie’s red carpet M.O., wearing a graphic-print Thakoon Addition top and skirt styled with electric-blue Stuart Weitzman pumps which I adore.

    Liberty = WDOTY

My favorites are Bellamy and Teyonah. Bella also looks nice.

I can tolerate Liberty’s dress from the front, the back is unforgivably unattractive. Really does look like a tan nappy.

I like Bellamy’s look, but wish she’d gone for softer hair. Katie’s dress isn’t very flattering.

Not loving anyone really. What an underwhelming event. I’d choose Renee (feminine and sophisticated) and Bellamy (a nicely put-together, cute and flirty fall look) of the bunch.

Can’t look past Bella’s nude pumps. Liberty looks tacky and Morticia Adams-esque, those tan panels are dreadful. Teyonah needed sleek pants, Kaley is a bit boring, agree, and Katie’s styling is incomplete, would’ve been nice if she’d added a clutch.

Liberty Ross’ dress is horrible especially from the back. Parris is also awful. I like Renee’s dress but she IS unrecognizable and doesn’t look good at all. Bella Thorne gets my best dressed out of this group.

The midia has been making fun of Renee’s face and eyes for over a decade and now they wanna make those “This is so sad” comments. It’s so hypocritical. Yes, she looks completely different, but still looks great nonetheless. Her outfit looks flawless here.

I agree, its one of those damned if you do, damned if you dont situations in hollywood. She had been called “squinty” and made made fun of so much before and now everyone is up in arms over her attempting to correct what they’ve perceived to be so flawed. Anyway, I digress…I do like her styling here.

It’s Rene ‘s face that caused me not to recognised her

    • Denise October 21, 2014 at 7:53 pm #

Exactly. It is so sad. The eyes are so different. She has a new face. She doesn’t seem to accept the fact that ageing is inevitable and try to age gracefully.

    • sara October 21, 2014 at 9:45 pm #

Yes, FC- thats kind of you to blame the “hair” for being unrecognizable- but lets face it, its her face. She must have had that eyelid surgery or something. She looks nothing like her former self.

Aside from that, I love Bella’s look.

It’s terrible. How is she going to do Bridget Jones 3 when she looks nothing like herself anymore?

    • Valerie October 22, 2014 at 12:05 pm #

+1 It feels like she went to a plastic surgeon with a picture from Naomi Watts, so weird!

  8. Anj October 21, 2014 at 7:36 pm #

Kaley & then Teyonah are my favorites.

  9. Vanie October 21, 2014 at 7:06 pm #

    What happened to Renee Zewelleger?

    • Lili October 21, 2014 at 10:00 pm #

OMG!!!! Is she Renee Zewelleger? She has a different face, too much surgery! I just can´t believe it!

  10. Yeliz October 21, 2014 at 6:58 pm #

Katie is my fave of the bunch.

  11. Bailey October 21, 2014 at 6:30 pm #

    Bella Thorne in Gucci

    • Christine October 21, 2014 at 8:51 pm #

      Agreed. She looks the best

  12. pinksugar October 21, 2014 at 5:54 pm #

Liberty’s dress is horrid. She pretty much always borderlines on tacky but this is far beyond that. Bella looks nice, great color on her.

  13. Mary S. October 21, 2014 at 5:43 pm #

The back of Liberty’s gown freaks me out… So.weird.

    • julyol1972 October 21, 2014 at 8:53 pm #

+1 All I can see is a tan, leather diaper! *shudder*
