‘Assassination Nation’ LA Premiere

'Assassination Nation' LA Premiere

Shortly after the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival premiere of ‘Assassination Nation’, Hari Nef, Suki Waterhouse, and a few other starlets were on the red carpet for the LA premiere on Wednesday (September 12).

Hari Nef: Going back to her Gucci zone, Hari was vibrant in this floral-print frock from the Resort 2019 collection that had a retro-forward mood. I loved the intense coral-red lip, but I can’t say the same for the colour of her lemon-yellow shoes.

Suki Waterhouse: On this occasion, Suki’s bohemian style took a princess-y turn with this Christian Dior Cruise 2019 black lace dress that featured an embroidered ottoman belt. She completed the frock with Dior black pumps and a ballet bun. I do thinks she pulls off the girly gracefulness of the look.

Bella Thorne In Marc Jacobs – ‘Midnight Sun’ New York Screening

Bella Thorne continued to promote ‘Midnight Sun’ with a screening in New York City on Thursday (March 22).

The young actress is often labelled as trying to hard when it comes to her style, so I loved this playful offering from Marc Jacobs Spring 2018 collection.

Styled in pretty rose pink, this golfer terry cardigan felt like a preppy choice by Bella’s standards.

I adore the pink t-bar pumps, but neither the bag or the eye makeup really worked for me.

‘Midnight Sun’ LA Premiere

Patrick Schwarzenegger, Quinn Shephard and Bella Thorne graced the red carpet at the ‘Midnight Sun’ LA premiere on Thursday (March 15).

Patrick Schwarzenegger: The actor looked dapper in a Dzojchen suit. The one-button jacket created crisp lines for a thoroughly modern finish. The bright white shirt and trainers enhanced the sharp suave nature of the ensemble with the footwear adding a cool casualness.

Quinn Shephard: The actress really stood out in this trio. Her Christopher Kane Resort 2018 black ruffle sleeve dress looked like it was destined for only the pages of a magazine, but I’m impressed with how well she pulls this off. The right undergarments helps, followed by the confidence in making such an intricate design work. Styled with Giuseppe Zanotti star embellished sandals and a rouge lip, Quinn finds a place on my one-to-watch list.

Bella Thorne: One of the constants of the actress’s style of late has been unpredictability and this Raisa & Vanessa fringe corset dress played into that. It had such a rich opulence with the mix of heavy embellishment. The form-fitting shape had a sensual allure, but it was tempered with the longer skirt and vintage sentiment. She could have overcooked the look with accessories so the Sergio Rossi heels and Norman Silverman jewelry were wise options.

102.7 KIIS FM’s Jingle Ball Red Carpet Roundup

Along with Jada Pinkett-Smith, Demi Lovato, and Sofia Carson, more stars joined the mix at the 102.7 KIIS FM Jingle Ball 2017 on Friday (December 1) in Inglewood, California.

Sarah Hyland: I like how Sarah artfully—and subtly—referenced the holiday season in her red Rasario Atelier Resort 2018 two-piece look, with the magenta colour-block tie adding a sassy twist on the effortlessly vivacious look.

Halsey: Working her unique ode to unconventional style, the entertainer put a whole new twist on the Canadian tuxedo in this Off-White Fall 2017 look that presented a rebellious take on baggy denim and mom jeans.

Bella Thorne: From head to toe, I found this two-piece Milin Fall 2017 ensemble not only dated, but also ageing for Bella. The hair and jewelry also didn’t add any measure of youthful freshness.

Bella Thorne In Yousef Akbar – 2017 GQ Mexico Men of The Year Awards

Bella Thorne attended the 2017 GQ Men of The Year Awards on Thursday (October 26) in Mexico City, Mexico, where she bagged herself the International Rising Star Award.

Having made headlines for her punky transformation in recent months, one would regard this Yousef Akbar Resort 2017 gown as relatively demure by her standards – yes, even with the wrap twist, cut-outs and thigh-high split.

Channeling a gothic-inspired look with pale make-up and dark red lips, the former Disney star styled her look with matching red satin strappy sandals and wore her glossy auburn hair in an elegant updo.

Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’

The list of lovelies at Harper’s BAZAAR Celebrates ‘ICONS By Carine Roitfeld’ on Friday (September 8) in New York City was seemingly unending, as a number of stars joined Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, and Kim Kardashian.

Gigi Hadid: Her hyper-embellished Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2017 ensemble, styled with Lorraine Schwartz jewels, was so intricate and powerful of a statement that it really didn’t require the rhinestone clogs.

Kaia Gerber: Cindy Crawford’s model daughter was all grown up in a slinky Kristian Aadnevik Fall 2017 mini that had her looking like her mom more and more.

Kendall Jenner: There was little left to the imagination in this Dolce & Gabbana ruched, sheer number. Yet, ironically in spite of the see-through, I couldn’t help but still get a certain sophisticated, glam vibe with the look, which I will chalk up to its silhouette along with Kendall’s Old-Hollywood waves, Lorraine Schwartz jewels, and Jimmy Choo sandals.

Bella Thorne In Jovani Signature – 2017 Teen Choice Awards

Bella Thorne returned to the red—well, blue—carpet at the 2017 Teen Choice Awards on Saturday (August 13) in LA, but I will be the first to admit that I barely recognized her.

The ‘Famous in Love’ actress was more channeling an ‘almost famous’ punk-star vibe, as she put her hot-pink locks to work for her by pairing them with multi-coloured makeup and confetti glitter strewn across her hair and face.

To go with that Lisa Frank rainbow-rad effect, she wore a sequined crop top, black leather-look pants and a shimmery Jovani Signature duster coat—plus platform shoes, of course.

I really have no words, as I simply don’t understand this costume-y, trendy-tragic look that has left me wishing for her return to her auburn-haired roots.
