2014 NCLR ALMA Awards Red Carpet Roundup

Here is a quick roundup of a few more looks from the 2014 NCLR ALMA Awards held at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium on Friday (October 10) in Pasadena, California.

Ana Ortiz: The ‘Devious Maids’ actress looked radiant wearing a Romona Keveza cerulean-blue silk shantung taffeta gown featuring an architectural neckline and a mermaid-shaped skirt from the Spring 2014 collection styled with Jacobs & Co earrings.

Edy Ganem: This was by far my favourite at this event. I love the futuristic feel of her Nicolas Jebran green and gold embellished sheer gown. Alluring in a chic way, when done right this is the kind of glamour I really adore. A gold Kotur clutch and glossy waves completed her perfect look.

Judy Reyes: Making up a ‘Devious Maids’ trio, Judy’s beautiful Tadashi Shoji lace gown accented with a sheer skirt does an amazing job of showcasing her gorgeous hourglass figure. Aruna Seth pumps, a gold cuff and a Kotur gold clutch accessorized her look.

Alexa Vega: The dramatic length of Alexa’s satin cowl-neck gown is only enhanced by its deep plum hue. This glamorous offering was my second favourite of the night.

Edy’s dress is a mess. I wish the lining came down the whole way, it really detracts from the elegance of the gown for me. She looks beautiful though – hair and makeup are gorgeous. Judy’s gown is a bit of a bore, but she looks stunning.

I really can’t get into anyone here. I guess the color of Alexas dress is lovely, but I’m not overly impressed by any of them

I’ll give Alexa a pass but only because the others don’t work at all.

I don’t like any of these dresses. The blue dress is bridesmaidy, the second is just a gigantic no, the third enough with the sheer and the last one is just boring but I do love the color.

I agree about Edy, the look is captivating and she styled it beautifully, the best of the bunch imo. Sadly, Ana looks more like a bridesmaid with that hair and the bottom two is nothing to get excited about.
