Chanel Fall 2014 Front Row

Chanel Fall 2014 Front RowHyper-luxe, double ‘C’-stocked supermarket aisles masqueraded as the super-chic catwalk for the Chanel Fall 2014 show, held during Paris Fashion Week today (March 4). Designer Karl Lagerfeld’s runway revelry at the magnificently transformed Grand Palais knew no bounds, as vivaciously clad models carted shopping baskets and browsed the canned goods. So it’s no surprise the Chanel-clad pretties sitting front row were having tons of fun, observing the shopaholic spectacle.

: Looking lovely in lilac, the songstress showed off a demure bouclé? dress with a cropped top and waist-cinching middle section. Adding her signature edge, she punched up the prim purple with a matching, gun-embellished bum bag and sneakers, alongside a gigantic, pearl-like wrist cuff and ’50s-inspired oversized, cat-eye shades.

Keira Knightley: Following the hourglass silhouette, Keira likewise flaunted her trim middle via a chic black-and-white number, made charming with cap sleeves and a bow detail on the cropped top, and accessorized with a tiny quilted Chanel, chain-strap handbag. Gold metallic pumps gave the monochrome look a shiny pop of attitude.

Chanel Fall 2014 Front Row 2Vanessa Paradis: Toughening up her lacy black cami and little white jacket, trimmed in metallic and black piping, the French star put on a pair of slouchy, faded denim and platform boots, completing the Parisian look with a rouge-coloured clutch, a pink lip and a shock of short tight curls.

Melanie Griffith: The actress donned a neutral palette of creamy hues, pairing her tweedy midi skirt with a sheer long-sleeve sweater set and Chanel’s hybrid sock boots. Along with a statement pendant necklace, she slung a blue handbag over her shoulder, with neither accessory changing my opinion that this ensemble still needed a few nips and tucks.

Chanel Fall 2014 Front Row 3Clé?mence Poé?sy: The French starlet played it classically cool in a black ribbed sweater and monochrome tweed skirt, worn schoolgirl-sweet with black tights and buckle-accented brogues.

Alicia Vikander
: Effortlessly sophisticated, the Swedish actress wore a textured, exaggerated-sleeve collared blouse with black necktie paired with a black step-hem skirt for a sultry mannish appeal. Black T-strap pumps and a large, black-and-white striped handbag completed her entrance.
