Parker Posey Doubles Up on Valentino at Venice Film Festival
Parker Posey joined her Wild Horse Nine co-stars John Malkovich and Mariana Di Girolamo at the Venice Film Festival, serving up two very different Valentino moments for the photocall and premiere.

I get this Valentino Pre-Fall 2026 look for Parker. The lilac polka dots, draped neckline and lace-trimmed sheer panel have that ’60s eccentricity that feels completely at home in her wardrobe.
But I’m struggling to get on board with that sheer lace panel. It feels so random and completely unnecessary, and then I mentally checked out the moment I saw the Rockstud sandals. I’ve simply reached my limit with them. I just can’t anymore. I honestly can’t remember the last time I thought they improved a look.
Premiere
Her second Valentino look, from the Resort 2027 collection, was heavenly.
The diaphanous cream fabric falls beautifully from the shoulders, creating a cape effect around the plunging gown, but it’s the embellished collar that makes this special. The crystal and emerald-green detailing gives the softness of the chiffon a striking focal point and almost reads like jewellery built into the dress.
This is the Parker Posey look I’m taking from Venice. The romance, the drama and that incredible collar made this an easy win for me.
