Rihanna In Rihanna for River Island – 2013 MTV Video Music Awards #VMAs
Rihanna opted to go low key to the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Sunday evening as she made a last-minute decision to attend the event.
She opted to skip the red carpet, taking her seat in the front row wearing an MC Lyte graphic t-shirt that read ‘Gotta Get A Ruff Neck’ with jeans from her Rihanna for River Island collection and black sandals.
Low key didn’t mean low on glamour as she added a diamond choker and matching cuff to her laidback look, with a vintage Chanel velvet bag, Lynn Ban cuff plus a hot-red lip with a tiny gold cross ‘grill’ between her two front teeth providing the finishing touch.
I love the look. She totally nailed it. Sexy doesn’t have to mean letting it all hang out.
She looks way better than a few of the other attendees I could name – Sarah Hyland and Erin Wasson immediately spring to mind.
