Rihanna for River Island Fall/Winter 2013 Collection

Rihanna for River Island

The Rihanna for River Island Fall/Winter 2013 collection has just been revealed, and I have to admit it’s pretty good.

Like the previous collection it will be divided into two parts, with the first instalment hitting shelves September 12th and a second drop due in November.

The collection – which Rihanna co-designed with Adam Selman – features many everyday pieces that RiRi would (and will) wear herself.

Carrying on the same urban-street-style feel from the first collection, expect sexy sporty separates, camouflage, many cropped tops, beanie hats, denim jackets, baseball tops, mesh tops, underwear, shorts, quilted bomber jackets, onesies, maxi dresses, leggings, ankle-strap heels, knee-high boots, Timberland-esque heeled boots and a backpack.

You can check out the campaign pictures below; head over to River Island to see their behind-the-scenes video and click here to see the full collection.

Can you see yourself rocking pieces from this collection?

Who is the asian model? Love her! I agree with the consensus of G4LIFE, because I tend to wear clothes that don’t have in-your-face writing on it. And if I walked around with G4LIFE on my pants or sleeves… I would be a major poser. You have to have fierce attitude to wear this line. The group picture doesn’t really sell it either, because these girls aren’t Gs at all…

The model is Ji Hye Park.

I like the black/gray camo halted sweater and matching shrug. I also like the boots. But I really dislike any of the items that say ‘G 4 Life’. So ridiculous.

I see only two pieces I would wear.

Stripe midi skirt is the only piece I like here. What pieces do you see yourself wearing FC? And did you rate the first collection as I wasn’t a fan at all.

Wow. I’ve always wanted a jumper with ‘G4LIFE’ written on it. Thank you Rihanna.

Hopefully she will stick to “her designs” and will stop trashing other people’s creations.

I wouldn’t wear anything from this collection even if they gave it to me for free.

I don’t like it. It looks cheap and tacky.
