Chanel New Bond Street Private Viewing

Chanel New Bond Street 2

Chanel celebrated the revamp of their New Bond Street flagship boutique by inviting celebs to have a private viewing.

Thandie Newton: The leggy actress wore a black pearl-accented dress from Chanel’s Fall 2013 collection, which she styled with beige suede platform Louboutins and a multi-coloured Chanel Lego clutch. Diane Kruger wore a similar look last year.

Poppy Delevingne: The socialite wore a light-pink frothy tiered tulle confection from Chanel’s Resort 2013 collection, which she styled with gold pumps.

Caroline Sieber: There isn’t a Chanel party anywhere around the globe without Ms Sieber in attendance. The stylist wore a blue-and-white flirty Chanel Resort 2013 frock styled with a Chanel black satin clutch and black pumps. The styling, ironically, lets her down.

Poppy’s dress is not from resort 2013, but from spring 2011 haute couture collection.

Poppy’s look is OK, but I don’t really like any of them.

    Thandie looks good.

    I only like Thandie here
Caroline Sieber, who hires her as a stylist?

I prefer Thandie’s styling to Diane’s, but I really only like her legs here to be honest, bit of a snoozefest. The other two warrant a no comment comment.

I’m not really loving any look, but Thandie looks the best here. Would’ve preferred another shoes though.

I was lucky enough to be invited. In person these looks were far more vibrant-in person Thandie is TINY!!!!. Sadly only Yasnin Le Bon’s outfit didn’t work.
The one thing I did not get is that the store whilst beautiful looks just like an LV store- Marino also designs for LMVH. I do not understand why they would want a Chanel store to look like a LMVH brand-unless maybe they will join them in the distant future???

    Thandie looks young and gorgeous.

I like Thandie’s and poppy’s looks ankles up. Caroline Seiber seems to have poor sense of style, especially footwear wise.

None of them look really good. They all seem to be bored and uninspired.
    Thandi is the least offensive.

If I didn’t know better, I would have asked who the young ingenue mistakenly tagged as Thandie Newton was- does she age?! Poppy’s dress is a bit overwrought and fussy, in the way that Marchesa sometime is, and Caroline looks to me like she went dumpster diving through Olivia Palermo’s castoffs a few minutes before she left her house. Tragic.
