Sylvie Tellier In Andrew Gn - 'Zulu' Cannes Film Festival Premiere and Closing Ceremony

Sylvie Tellier took to the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals in France this evening for the ‘Zulu’ premiere and Closing Ceremony for the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

The former Mrs. France looked heavenly wearing an Andrew Gn Resort 2012 goddess green long-sleeve gown.

Her fully embellished gown with a plunging neckline and tonal embellished belt was styled with elegant drop earrings with an emerald stone.

You may remember that Lauren Dern wore this same gown to the 2012 Golden Globe Awards.

Cannes BD Day 11

Today’s best dressed in association with shoescribe.com for Day 11 of Cannes Film Festival are Tilda Swinton in Chanel and Bianca Balti in Dolce & Gabbana.

Tilda inspired this Daniele Ancarani t-bar pump selection for their bi-colour, simple, chic effortlessness.

Bianca inspired me to select these Daniele Michetti gladiator sandals. Like Bianca’s look they are sexy, fiery and command your attention.

Tilda Swinton In Haider Ackermann - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Tilda Swinton looked amazing when she took to the red carpet at the Palais des Festivals yesterday evening for the ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ Cannes Film Festival premiere.

The British actress wore a custom Haider Ackermann gold ensemble which included shimmering fluid long-sleeve top and extra long pants.

When it came to styling her look, she concentrated her efforts on her hair, styling her blonde tresses into a punky quiff, much to her co-stars’ amusement.

To prevent her from not looking washed out; Tilda applied a rich red lip colour to complete her look.

I know not everyone appreciates Tilda’s individual style, but this is yet another polished, chic look for me.

Whatever she is selling, I’m always buying, however, for a custom look the pants could’ve been a tad shorter.

Tom Hiddleston In Alexander McQueen - 'Only Lovers Left Alive' Premiere

Tom Hiddleston joined Tilda Swinton at the Palais des Festival in France yesterday afternoon for the Cannes Film Festival photocall for their new movie, ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ where he wore a cool-blue three-piece suit styled with a white pocket square, white open shirt and brown shoes.

By night he changed into yet another slick suit for the premiere, opting for an Alexander McQueen single breasted suit styled with a white shirt, black tonal skull bow tie and patent leather shoes.

Both looks were appropriate for the occasion. The cool-blue suit worked wonderfully with the French Riviera in the back drop and the McQueen suit befitted the formal occasion and fit to perfection.

We have seen so many great suits this week, it will be hard to pick a favourite.

'La Venus a la Fourrure' Cannes Film Festival Premiere Round Up

Here is a quick round up of the some of the other attendees at the ‘La Venus a la Fourrure’ Cannes Film Festival premiere this evening.

Audrey Tautou: The mistress of ceremonies wears her third strapless Lanvin dress of this festival, this time selecting a black pleated and tiered frock styled with Chaumet earrings and black ankle strap sandals. It’s my least favourite of the three, as it somewhat overwhelms her petite frame.

Bianca Balti: Providing some glamour to the occasion, Bianca wore a Dolce & Gabbana red fully beaded gown with a black lace underlay, styling her look with statement earrings, a hot red lip colour and a slick back bun.

Saadet Aksoy: The Turkish actress gave us another princess moment wearing a dove-grey embellished gown.

Nicole Kidman In Chanel - 'La Venus a La Fourrure' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

Nicole Kidman made her fourth red carpet appearance as a juror of Cannes Film Festival this evening, attending the ‘La Venus a la Fourrure’ premiere.

She’s had many BDOTY worthy moments from this festival, in fact each of the first three looks will battle for a place in my end of year list; however, this one will not be joining them.

The actress joins Tilda Swinton in selecting a look from the Chanel Resort 2014 collection.

While I don’t hate her white sequined dress with a silk tulle black-and-white ruffle hemline styled with a bejewelled belt, it didn’t leave me gasping for air like the other three.

Had it been longer, possibly. Or had it been sans ruffles, also possibly, but then the dress would have nothing dramatic to speak of. It would just be a white sequined dress, and lord knows we’ve seen plenty of those.

The red Christian Louboutin ‘Decollete 554′ pumps however really enhance the overall look.

Light make up, a rolled, braided messy updo and Fred Leighton black enamel and gold cuff bracelets provided the finishing touches.
