Naomi Watts’ red carpet run during awards season was, for me, the most enjoyable and most consistent.
She kick-started her ‘Best Actress in a Leading Role’ campaign for ‘The Impossible’, wearing a stunning Alexander McQueen gown at the People’s Choice Awards, before going sexy in Pucci at the Critics’ Choice Awards the following evening.
My favourite look had to be her Golden Globes Zac Posen gown, from the colour to the drama it brought to the red carpet, with other notable looks including her Marchesa gown at the SAG Awards and Prive gown on Oscar night.

I loved her Golden Globes look.
It’ll be between the GG look and the Oscar look. Can’t decided which one was better since that both were so gorgeous.
Tough choice between Zac Posen and Armani Prive! I finally go with Zac Posen, love the color and the drama!
Definitely the ox-blood Zac Posen–a gorgeous look. The blue Armani didn’t work for me.
The Zac Posen dress would make my BDOTY list.
Loved all of her looks, but the Oscars look was my absolute favourite. Runner-up is her Globes look.
1 – Armani Privé – Oscars
2 – Marchesa – SAG Awards
I like her Golden Globes dress from the front, but hate the way that train is tacked on to the back.
My favorite is the Zac Posen.
I remember when she stepped onto the red carpet in that dress. After a parade of women wearing springtime or summery looks, she alone took advantage of the season to wear a luxurious wintry gown. I loved it then and still do!
She had a wonderful awards season, didn’t she? The only look here that I don’t particularly like is the Valentino luncheon one, but even that one is far from a disaster.
Yes, she was definitely the most consistent. So much so that, as some have said, it’s hard to choose between the GGs and the Oscars looks. They’re both done to perfection.
Big LOVE to her Zac Posen gown from me, big fan of the deep rich colour and dramatic design.
