Marc Jacobs was in London last night to celebrate 30 years of Diet Coke; the event also served to announce the designer as the new creative director of the brand.
The designer wore his fourth PJ-inspired look in a row, which featured the signature stripes from his Spring 2013 collection.
Marc also sported PJs when he took his bow at Marc by Marc Jacobs, Marc Jacobs and again at Louis Vuitton.
Has your worst fear been realised? Is Marc bringing the PJ trend back?
I remember you hated (with a burning passion) the first time this look became a trend.
This look worked when Ryan Gosling sported a PJ-syle look during Cannes, but of course this trend would work with the French Riviera in the background.
Can you see this trend taking off as a menswear trend in Hollywood? If so, who would work it best?

I don’t recall Jacobs being considered the “style symbol” of NYC’s men fashion. How many people actually followed his skirt or that lace see-through dress phrase?
I pray that it doesn’t. Only Ryan worked this look.
Agreed. Only Ryan.
I agree as well.
Fortunately men don’t seem to follow Marc Jacobs, otherwise we’d see a lot of man-skirts.
my thoughts exactly
I agree with you, we’d have men with skirts, carrying bags and clutches, lace dresses… such a nightmare!
The first look is passable but no this trend.
It only works on him cuz he works in fashion.
If a normal male celeb were to try this on the red carpet, I & the whole world would cringe & laugh our a$$es off.
After wearing dresses its time to wear pijamas
Oh my!! The first one is like ZARA!! Actually Zara is like Marc..Anyway I love him anyway!
i love him too, just had to say it!
I can give the 1st one a pass, can tolerate the 2nd, but the 3rd and 4th are just a NO – bright florals or prison stripes in combination with pajama design are plain awful.
terrible. it reminds me of girls who go out in their pajamas with ugg boots just not a good look. even worse on men.
just because Marc wears it doesn’t make it less ugly
Oh please God — no!
I can’t see this look being taken on in any general sense. The males in my life would just roll their eyes. It just passes on Mr Jacobs himself except for the third look. My son had similar pjs when he was 4 years old only they were space themed and not floral!!
