Saffron Hocking Wore Mithridate To The ‘Hit Point’ Q&A

Saffron Hocking stepped out this evening for the BAFTA TV Preview and Q&A for Hit Point at BAFTA, using the appearance to make a confident style statement.

Wearing a look from Mithridate’s Fall 2026 collection, she tapped into fashion’s ongoing embrace of oversized tailoring. Some might find the exaggerated proportions a little too much, particularly the dropped shoulders and generously cut jacket, but I liked the conviction of the silhouette.

What really sold the look for me, however, was the slight rock-and-roll edge. The distressed bralette, with its frayed edges peeking out beneath the open shirt, created a raw textural contrast against the sharp tailoring.

The wide-leg trousers reinforced the oversized proportions, creating a consistent silhouette from shoulder to hem.

For me, the success of this look comes down to balance. The masculine tailoring is offset by the distressed bralette, while the restrained black-and-white palette allows the proportions and contrasting textures to remain the focus.

It’s a contemporary take on tailoring that I’m totally buying into.
