Daisy Edgar-Jones Celebrates The August Issue Of British Vogue In Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood

Daisy Edgar-Jones co-hosted British Vogue’s August issue celebration with fashion editor Chioma Nnadi at Sessions Arts Club in London, marking the actress’s cover and her upcoming role in the new Sense and Sensibility adaptation.

Following her first photocall look, it is becoming clear that Daisy’s wardrobe is taking subtle cues from the world of the film. The references aren’t overt, but this Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood Fall 2026 corset dress continues that thread.

A corseted silhouette is one of Vivienne Westwood’s signatures, so this doesn’t feel like a costume or a literal interpretation of Georgian dress. Instead, it echoes elements of the period in a way that feels entirely natural. The structured bodice, draped skirt and striped fabric subtly recall Georgian silhouettes while remaining unmistakably Vivienne Westwood.

Without the Sense and Sensibility context, I would still consider this a strong look for Daisy. The film simply provides another lens through which to appreciate it for those of us following the press tour.

Styling the dress with pumps and Boucheron Plume de Paon white gold pearl earrings the historical references register while maintaining a contemporary finish.

This is exactly the kind of thematic dressing I enjoy: considered enough to acknowledge the project, but subtle enough that the look stands confidently on its own.
