Olivia Wilde was back on the red carpet during the 2013 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival for the ‘Drinking Buddies’ premiere held at the Paramount Theater in Austin, Texas with co-star Anna Kendrick.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get any worse style-wise for Olivia, she goes and presents us with this look.
She wore a L’Wren Scott Resort 2013 printed dress with a pointy black collar, cuffs and faux flap pockets, which she styled with Sergio Rossi’s ‘Cachet’ pumps and Irene Neuwirth jewels.
From wearing a Dolce & Gabbana sundress on Friday, she ages about 30 years on Saturday. I’m not sure if it’s the dress, the styling or that faux bob which is the main factor, but overall I don’t like anything about this look. It’s just so bland.
Had SJP – a L’Wren Scott devotee – worn this, I’m sure the results wouldn’t have been anywhere near as dull as this look.
At this point, I am hoping this promo tour for both her latest flicks will be over very soon, or improve her look drastically.

I actually really like this look. It’s cute, a little quirky, and probably something you might find on Modcloth.
The fit is good, her shoe choice is great, and her hair frames her face well and is romantic.
PS- I’ve seen other pics, and her shoes are a lighter blue (I think-could be green since I’m slightly color-blind) peep-toe sling backs.
I’m on the “love” side here. Aside from the boring pumps (which are obscured in shadow anyway) the dress is gorgeous on her, and I love the faux bob. Well done, Olivia!
I think she was trying to go for a vintage feel with this look. I actually quite like it. The shoes could have been more interesting but it doesn’t stop me from liking this.
Also, this looks like something Keira Knightley would wear.
It just looks more lively on the model to me. TG she went back to being a brunette.
I like the dress, although the dark picture makes it hard to see too many details. Not a fan of the hair, it is bringing the look down.
This look doesn’t suit her at all.
+1. I would have liked it on someone else, but not on Olivia.
At first I thought the dress was far better on the model, but now I think it may be equally boring in both photos, it’s just the model’s shoes that are sending me over the moon.
I like this look on her – it’s very mad men…
She is not pulling this dress off.
The model’s extra height makes the dress sit higher on her waist and gives more movement and shape. Because it is sitting just below the waist on Ms Wilde it looks droopy and drab.
I kind of like this. I think the dress is nice.
