Celebrities at the 2026 Serpentine Summer Party
Here is a look at the notable attendees who joined Sienna Miller for the 2026 Serpentine Summer Party in London on Monday evening.

Art School Experiment
Jessie Ware wore Kiko Kostadinov Spring 2026, and this was easily one of the evening’s most intriguing looks. The patchwork construction, layered textures and sculptural peplum feel more like wearable art, and I admire the ambition and the willingness to wear something genuinely challenging. The bright orange accessories further amplify the energy, but the style of the bag feels at odds with the rest of the look. Even so, I would rather see something this unusual than another predictable black dress.

New Territory
Alexa Chung stepped outside her usual vintage-inspired comfort zone wearing Dilara Fındıkoğlu Spring 2026. The sheer, distressed construction, exposed seams and fitted silhouette feel far removed from the bohemian and indie aesthetic that has long defined her style, as it has an almost ghostly quality to it. I appreciate her willingness to experiment, and I think she wears it well and with conviction, but I have a feeling that some might not be entirely convinced by this directional aesthetic.

Prints In Retreat
Caitríona Balfe wore a Hermès printed slip dress with a soft colour palette and delicate print that is perfect for a balmy evening, but the accessories dull my mood.

Heavy Weather
Ellie Goulding wore Matières Fécales Spring 2026, marking quite a departure from the bohemian aesthetic that suited her so well during her “Chloé era.” During a heatwave, the heavy flared trousers, textured black top and layered proportions feel especially out of sync with both the season and the setting. Matières Fécales might be the label of the moment, but this was the wrong moment for this look, in my opinion.

Wrong Turn
Jenna Coleman wore an Erdem Fall 2026 gown with asymmetrical tulle panels and contrasting ribbons, which should have been quite a whimsical direction for her, but the whole thing feels very disconnected. The dress is charming in isolation, yet Jenna and her styling choices never sell it to me. Methinks this should have been saved for Keira Knightley.

Boot Problem
Marisa Abela wore Emilia Wickstead Fall 2025, wisely leaving the runway cape behind. Unfortunately, I still find the styling too heavy. The fitted taupe dress itself is beautifully cut and elegantly restrained, but the dark boots are too heavy. Simple pumps would have been preferred.

Leather Debate
Naomie Harris wore Ferrari Spring 2026, and while I cannot endorse leather during a heatwave, I do love this dress on her. The rich mahogany colour complements her beautifully, while the white accessories give the leather a lighter feel.

Déjà Vu Dressing
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley wore Tom Ford Fall 2025, delivering exactly the kind of minimalist glamour that has become her signature. The draped white gown, gold Tiffany & Co. jewellery and sleek styling are all impeccably executed, yet the overall effect feels familiar. Despite being a first wear, it immediately creates a sense of déjà vu because it sits so comfortably within her established formula.

Mother Of The Bride Energy
Salma Hayek wore McQueen Fall 2026, and while I appreciate that the dress is fully lined, the overall impression still leans heavily toward mother-of-the-bride territory. The soft lavender colour, satin inserts and sculptural shoulder detail feel better suited to someone older. Sadly, this is not an unfamiliar issue within her wardrobe, where silhouettes and styling can sometimes age her unnecessarily.
