The highlight of this weekend’s events was seeing Blake Lively back on the red carpet.
The blonde beauty, otherwise known as Mrs Reynolds, supported her hubby by attending the premiere of his latest animated flick, ‘The Croods’, which was held at the AMC Loews Lincoln Square 13 Theater in New York City on Sunday.
Flashing that million-dollar smile and those enviable legs, Blake wore a fresh-off-the-runway look from Marios Schwab’s Fall 2013 collection.
The burgundy-hued frock with a PVC yoke featured slits on the sleeves, miniature gold buttons and a sexy white hemline.
As we’ve seen from Rachel Weisz on Friday, the weather is none too warm in New York, so Blake arrived wearing a Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2013 camel wool coat with an embellished collar, complementing her Bottega Veneta pumps, which had a bedazzled heel.
Looking as stunning as always, with flawless makeup including soft-pink lips, the actress styled her hair into an effortless updo and completed her look with Jennifer Meyer earrings.
Blake’s looks often elicit a strong 50/50 love-hate divide, so do those of you who usually can’t stand anything Blake wears actually like this look?

The best part is her choice of shoes. She avoided going all matchy matchy with a burgundy color shoe.
Just wish her hair would have been more neater, but it can be easily ignored.
It’s an okay look but nothing more for me. The PVC panel ruins it for me as well as the white shoes.

I love this. The dress is so cool that it’s almost too cool for this type of event. I can’t stop staring at all the little details. This is seriously one of the most interesting pieces I’ve seen in a while.

I really like the dress but think this is a rare occasion where black tights and maybe black ankle boots would have improved the look. a winter dress with a summer shoe doesn’t make sense.
Love the color, understand why she matched the shoes to the hem but think that the hem was out of place to start with, don’t love the super short length or the PVC insert…her hair, makeup, and of course her smile are adorable.

The PVC yoke is too reflective, which makes it look odd and, frankly, costumey. But Blake is Blake, and she pulls this off with her infectious personality alone. Love how happy she always looks.

In typical Blake Lively fashion, her attempt at effortless comes off as horribly try hard. If it didnt have the PVC, I might like it more but there is something off about the placement and the overall design of the dress. And for the love of all that is good, please Blake, style your hair for a change!

Wow, simply amazing!! Blake Lively easily upstaged Emma Stone in this maroon long sleeved Marios Schwab creation with a PVC detailed front!! Love the modern twist on the sleeves and the ponytail and white pumps perfectly against the strong hue of the dress!! She looks amazing!! BDOTW contender for our former Gossip Girl darling!!
