Leslie Mann walked the red carpet at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, hosted by editor Graydon Carter at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California tonight.
The actress left behind the high glitz and glam of the 2013 Oscars evening for a more subdued, burnt-orange gown with long pouf sleeves from Andrew Gn’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
The designer is known for his embroidery, and the highly embellished bodice was the star of the show here.
The plunging neckline was tacked more conservatively together than the lookbook version of the dress, which was a refreshing departure from more ubiquitous skin-baring red-carpet statements.
Honey blonde waves and minimal makeup completed the look.
This was a serious and sophisticated moment for the ‘This Is 40′ funny girl.

She should’ve worn her hair up or pulled it back like the model. The gown is nice but all in all, Leslie can do much better.
I totally agree about the hair! One of my biggest fashion pet peeves is hair obscuring design details, such as the embroidery on Leslie’s dress. If you want to wear your hair down, that’s fine but then pick a gown with embellishment along the waist or something! /rant
I like the dress, but not for that party
Just pick another dress, if you don’t want to deal with such a neckline.
I actually kind of like it. But I wish she’d hadn’t covered up the detailing with her hair.
I really like this dress and I love Andrew Gn. But I agree she should have work her hair up.
I really love this. It is different and I think it is flattering on her. The color is gorgeous.
i find it quite refreshing..she looks great!
I love this dress on her! It’s fresh, different, and flattering–glad that she made the neckline classier. Wish she’d worn her hair up, otherwise love!
the fit is gorgeous! wow
Plain matronly.
Stylish as always, but I’m a little bored.
I think she looks relaxed and sophisticated, ready to enjoy the party instead of worrying about her dress.
I think the dress and the styling are gorgeous. Love.
An updo would’ve given the dress a mantronly vibe so I can see why she opted for her hair down but I wish it had been styled in the same sleek way as the model’s hair. I’m also not a big fan of the zipper in the neckline so for that reason I like the lookbook version better. Still, I think Leslie looks breathtaking. One of my best dressed.
