Mia Wasikowska joined co-star Nicole Kidman on the red carpet for the ‘Stoker’ London screening yesterday evening.
The younger Australian actress also decided to go with a British designer, wearing a look from Christopher Kane’s Pre-Fall 2013 collection.
Her black-and-blue velvet dress features a peter-pan collar, giving this dress that quirky fashion-forward element Christopher Kane’s label is known for.
Opaque black tights and platform velvet heels elongated Mia’s form and, by opting out of accessories and jewelry, Mia left the focus exclusively on this simple, yet beautiful dress.
Simple makeup and hair kept the vibe of this look polished and mature.
How do you feel about her blunt-cut bangs?

Not feeling this look.
So boring. She try Rooney Mara bangs and fail!
I dislike the bangs. They are too blunt and too short, giving her the appearance of a schoolgirl.
I really like the dress on the model, but Mia’s hair and tights bring the look down.
It’s just okay.
Don’t like this at all.
Can´t find anything to like here – the bangs are awful, so is her heavy tights/pumps combo, and the dress is way too young/school girl for her, leave it for Kiernan Shipka.
Totally agree. Kiernan would look lovely in this. It’s not right for Mia, and neither are those unflattering and uneven bangs.
This is just so boring.
No no no. Unflattering velvet dress, black tights and mid-forehead fair blunt bangs? This must be how my nightmares look like. No.
Looks like a school girl playing dress ups in her maiden aunt’s closet. Why would she aspire to a mature look? She is young. Have fun!. This really is dowdy and boring.
Nope, not feeling it.
