Actress Salma Hayek looked on from a front-row perch at Giambattista Valli’s Spring 2013 Couture presentation at the gilded Italian Embassy in Paris, where the designer’s sculptural and slightly whimsical flurry of fashions were floated out on Monday.
For the runway show, Salma stunned in a little red dress from the Giambattista Valli Fall 2012 collection. The frock classically accented her enviable curves with its plunging V-neck bodice, a grosgrain ribbon cinched at the waist, and the fuller circle skirt of wool with silk godets.
Stacked bangles and a metallic bronze Alexander McQueen clutch added a cool edge, while black boots completed the look—and proved a necessary accoutrement for Paris’s snowfall.
Her jet-black hair, styled in loose waves, along with a nude lip complemented this sophisticated moment.

I think this pic is bad, she appears to be very short and it looks like the dress is too long. I understand the boots, it was snowing and cold but I prefer the dress with the styling of the runway. Salma looks OK and the color is great on her
This woman doesn’t know how to dress. She’s short and has big breasts. There’re women with bigger problems who dress better. She can have all the clothes in the world but the the result is often bad. These boots are nonsense, and the fact that it was cold and snowing is not an excuse, I’m sure she didn’t arrive at the show by walking.
Unfortunately, you are correct. She has a phenomenal body and gorgeous face, but she rarely does them justice. Her Golden Globes dress was fantastic, but her hair (looked like she just got out of bed), makeup and jewelry were awful and didn’t compliment the dress at all. Disappointing considering all the potential.
Understand it’s freezing now in Paris, but boots doesn’t go with this dress.
First of all, that dress is too long on her. Second, those boots do not go with that dress. How awful.

I kinda liked the looked (the dress itself is beautiful) untill I scrolled down: the lenght is terrible and those boots really don’t work with the dress.
Today is the day of color RED.
FC, could you post a new look of Kerry Washington in Michael Kors dress and boots? Thanks.
Due to the cost of purchasing celebrity pictures, we do not take requests.
Like the dress but not with the boots – the proportions just don’t look right.
Beautiful colour, i think the dress is a small bit too long for Salmas height
I like everything except those boots.
I like the dress on the runway, quite a lot, but on Salma it does not flattering. The bodice is too low cut and does not support her, and her posture isn’t helping. The skirt stumpifies her. The bots are likewise terrible. I love the clutch and the vibrant red color but that’s it.
Lovely dress but it needed to be hemmed a good bit.
what’s going on with her hair?? is she going bald or something??
with this look and her golden globes outfit i think she’s losing her wow factor!!
It’s a smashing dress but it looks better on the taller, less busty model.
Wow – nothing about this look is nice. To be honest even the model doesn’t look that great (?)
