Miranda Kerr joined many stars on the red carpet at Center 548 in New York City last night for the 2012 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards.
The model, who always excels when it comes to street style, doesn’t get my seal of approval on this occasion.
She wore a Giulietta Spring 2013 black and coral ensemble.
The look features a two-tone sleeveless blouse with beading at the sweetheart-neckline-inspired yoke, which she paired with a mid-length flared-silhouette skirt with a wavy open-knit detail throughout.
I feel like one of the staffers at Vogue picked this for Miranda as it doesn’t represent her style at all.
A black Prada ‘Raso Ricamo’ clutch and black t-bar open-toe heels completed her look.
Love or loathe?

What happened here…
It doesn’t look like her style, but she looks pretty good. I am not a fan of the yoke. I would have preferred it to end with the black sweetheart neckline.
Or the designer picked it. Not liking this look on her. I like her street style over her RC style.
Loathe
I don’t like the dress at all.
To be honest I’ve never felt Miranda’s red carpet style has ever been anything to screen and shout about- its always just been her street style that’s great. As for this look, It’s extremely bland in comparison to the other great dresses worn at this event from spring 2013 collections.
ITA
It is a nice look in itself, but not on Miranda.
What upsets me is that of all the rockin’ things Miranda could’ve worn, she wore this.
Agreed!
Well, I stand corrected, MK can make a mistake. I don’t see the reason for this dress to exist except for the color.
Loathe. The style seems a little blase for me. It honestly makes no sense how she has plummeted. Maybe that’s a bit dramatic…
I neither love nor hate this look. It’s just OK for me.
I love the coral, really hate the dress. A shame too…
She still looks gorgeous. Probably looks better in person.
I truly hate this. Although, I guess she chose the right shoes for it. Still, I deeply hate it.
This is maybe the first time I don’t like how she’s dressed, I don’t even like the shoes. This ensemble is not for such an event, maybe the top is right for daytime, with a pair of jeans.
She doesn’t look awful, she never does, but you’re right that it isn’t “her”. At all. I’m also distracted by the two shades of coral. No doubt it’s because of the fabrics – one matte and one shiny- but it just looks like a failed attempt at matching the top to the skirt.
I wish she’d swapped dress with Dakota fanning and worn her pink Jason Wu peplum dress.
Oh my, I’m kind of baffled! I really love her, but this is clearly a mistake
Had the skirt been shorter, this may have worked but it is not Miranda’s usual knockout and chic style.
Got to say that, though this is something different from Miranda I actually really like it. It’s a very pretty look.
