Salma Hayek In Gucci – LACMA 2012 Art + Film Gala

Salma Hayek was the one person I was looking forward to seeing on the red carpet for the 2012 LACMA Art + Film Gala in LA on Saturday night which was hosted by Gucci.

The actress looked super chic wearing a midnight-blue Gucci one-of-a-kind gown.

When the Mexican actress wears Gucci she really comes into her element and shines on the red carpet.

Her one-shoulder gown, which gathers on the hip before cascading down the skirt, is enriched with crystal elements.

Black strappy sandals, a black Gucci clutch and diamond-and-sapphire drop earrings accessorized her look.

I love the bangs, her top-knot and smoky eyes.

She more than delivered at this event.

Great figure-flattering fit, her curves are shown off beautifully, and she carries off this look really well but I’m not loving the hair.

Completely agree – this dress is so flattering on her and makes her look 6′ tall. The colour is gorgeous as well. I’m not loving the hair though and think a red lip would have suited the dress better.

I ADORE the dress. It is perfect for her and is the best she’s looked in a long time–one of the best of the night, certainly. Unfortunately, the ’80s prom hair brings it down.

Not sure about the bangs but she looks phenomenal! I really love Salma in Gucci. I was just thinking back to the Puss in Boots promo tour, she is much improved and I am over the moon :D

Her hair and make up look very dated, I hate the bangs with side tresses and they don’t flatter her at all! Lipstick not my favorite, either
