Nieves Alvarez received the ‘Best Model’ award at the ‘Escaparate’ magazine awards in Seville, Spain, this weekend.
The Solo Moda host wore an Emilio Pucci Fall 2012 houndstooth crystal-embellished chiffon coat as a dress.
Her dazzling semi-sheer with a dangerously high slit was styled with Roger Vivier ankle-cuff sandals, Pandora jewels and a black Swarovski clutch.
You may remember that Melanie Doutey wore this same coat as a dress during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

It’s on! Battle of the shoes. I don’t like this Pucci at all but I do like how both women styled the look.
The dress fits Nieves better but Melanie’s shoes are incredible. I can’t quite make out Nieves’ shoes but they are no basic black pumps. Both women look far better than the peep show styling on the runway. If one has to show (rather gratuitously) a woman’s breasts to get consideration of one’s design, then what does that say about the design? Nothing I want to hear.
She looks spectacular! She reminds me of a Bond Girl, probably because I am anticipating Naomie and Berenice’s premiere looks. BDOTW is going to be crowded but amazing.
Wow, I actually liked how both Nieves and Melanie styled their look. This is just simple a gorgeous coat.
I thought that this was tacky on Melanie, and Nieves doesn’t change my opinion. It’s just too revealing. I wish Tilda Swinton would wear it as a coat.
The dress looks better on Nieves, but Melanie’s shoes are still on my mind. I’m still drooling for them.
