Jessica McCormack’s Summer Solstice Party
Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kravitz co-hosted the Jessica McCormack Summer Solstice Party in London, where the heatwave was almost as much of a talking point as the guest list. Dressing for an outdoor event in soaring temperatures is never easy, and some navigated it far better than others.

Forever Relevant
Carey Mulligan’s Donna Karan floral dress is proof that great design doesn’t date. These softly draped dresses from the iconic designer continue to enjoy a resurgence. This look felt effortless, elegant, and perfectly suited to a warm summer evening.
Less Is More
Zoe Kravitz has built her style around clean lines, lingerie-inspired silhouettes, plenty of lace, and a dark palette, and this silver silk one-shoulder dress with matching slingbacks didn’t see her step too far out of her comfort zone. In this heat, simplicity was exactly the right call. Jessica McCormack jewels, including her new engagement ring, completed her look.

Abs On Display
We weren’t sold on Jodie Comer’s previous lace Givenchy dress for The Death Of Robin Hood New York premiere, and she is not backing down when it comes to opting for sultrier versions of her preference for black dresses. She wore a Sportmax Fall 2026 cut-out, scarf-detailed dress, which was a glowing endorsement of Pilates and ab crunches.

Office To Evening
Marisa Abela’s Tory Burch Spring 2026 look felt like something someone could wear from the office straight to the summer party. The crisp white shirt and pleated skirt looked light, breathable, and appropriate for the weather, while the black belt and sandals worked in harmony with each other. They only work here as a duo.

Wrong Day For Leather
Poppy Delevingne may have thought it was a cool idea to wear this brown leather dress and coat from the Tod’s Spring 2026 collection, but I know that as the temperature climbed to 100 degrees, she was regretting her decision. This makes no sense to me, regardless of how short it is.
Each look was styled with Jessica McCormack jewels.
