For the second year in a row, Sarah Hyland showed off her designing prowess.
The ‘Modern Family’ star teamed up with Georgina Chapman of Marchesa to design her dove-grey gown which she wore to the 2012 Emmy Awards on Sunday evening.
In true Marchesa spirit, the gown was beautifully embellished with silver and crystal detailing.
Unfortunately, I’m not too fond of the prom hair.

yes, for me it is too heavy. I also agree on the prom hair. But the dress is pretty.
Would prefer if her nails weren’t matchy-matchy grey with the dress… A contrasting pop of colour would be nice.
The dress is beautiful but it’s the only thing I like with the nail polish. The hair style and the purse look cheap.

I agree. I think she’s looking wonderful. I have yet to see her looking trashy or sleazy like so many others her age. Pretty is good!
I really liked this look. I didn’t like the dove grey on Emily Van Camp, but I love it here. The hair doesn’t bother me, since it goes with the soft/romantic gown.
I really like this look too, the dove grey works so much better on her than Emily, and I actually like how she played up the romantic feel of the gown with that hairstyle that also suits her youth.
Oops, she’s a bit older than I thought. This hairstyle is a bit too young and princessy for her.
I thought after her zimmerman look she would switch to a fresher style :S Alas!
