Alice Dellal joined Anna Mouglalis on the red carpet for the 26th Biennale des Antiquaires opening gala dinner held at the Grand Palais in Paris on Wednesday.
The model wore a Chanel Fall 2012 Couture look — well, half a look.
Alice isn’t a shy girl, so I’m not surprised she opted to wear just the aubergine organza low V-neck top with ‘quilted’ embroidery effect and silver embroidered trim with black short shorts.
Chanel fine jewelry and platform pumps completed her look.

I don’t like this.
I really disliked this colelction, and turning this look into a shorts suit makes it even worse!
It works.
Alice isn’t what I picture a Chanel girl to be, with her half-shaved head and rocker persona and all. But she wears their clothes (and shoes and handbags) very well. She’s pretty in a very strong, masculine way, and that works perfectly with the classic style of the brand.
This doesn’t work for me.

I don’t agree – I thinks she completely crossd the line of tacky/trashy. This is rich white trash if I ever saw it, completely undermining any sanctity the word ‘couture’ used to have.
She looks amazing!
My invitation to the Gala Dinner read Black Tie – my hosts said that meant long. She obviously was invited by a different host.
I absolutely hate her as the face of Chanel, she looked hideous in the print ads and she looks hideous here. She looks completely tacky with her god awful har and clunky shoes that only wearng the top of the outfit isn’t the worst part of this “look”.
