June Ambrose joined Jessica Stam at the American Ballet Theatre’s 2012 Gala in New York City last night.
The celebrity stylist opted to go big wearing a Carlos Miele Fall 2012 gown.
Her black taffeta-and-tulle gown is the most perfect look for a night at the Metropolitan Opera House.
Stunning jewels, a pewter clutch and an elegant wavy updo completed this stunning look.

Love it! So dramatic.
I would have much prefer erred this in a beautiful color. Spring galas are all about that. Black seems heavy to me.
Not sure about the wrinkling of the taffeta but she looks pretty.
Is this gown for real ?!
Disaster
All the drama, layers, tulle and pomp of this dress fail to impress. Without the runway coat, which is the only thing that brings life to it, it’s just an overall boring dress with a lot of volume. That said, she looks good and correct, but that’s it. Her styling is great but not enough to bring some life to the dress.
I hate the gown but on her it is great.
it’s a no for me. Looks a cheap atempt of a coture dress.
Looks like a failed attempt at a dramatic gown indeed. No drama here, just an uninspired mess.
Yes, I agree. It does look cheap, and the black is so heavy. This is a frazzled look.
Unfortunately it’s a no for me too. I don’t like this gown at all.
Not liking it.
