Florence Welch was a busy girl over the holidays. Not only did she open the Harrods sale, she also performed on ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve’ hosted by Ryan Seacrest.
The singer belted out her hit single ‘Shake It Out’ wearing a Gucci Spring 2012 dress.
Her black art-deco dress with gold details including a fringed skirt was modified from the runway version we have seen on Evan Rachel Wood, as Florence’s dress has ¾-length sleeves with gold draped chain details.
Black-and-gold Gucci heels from the same collection and red lippie completed her look.
If this is feeling a tad déjà vu, that’s because Florence wore a dress similar in style on ‘Jools Holland’ last year.

Whoa. Not a fan of the sleeves at all. Yuck.
Her hair is getting worse.
This really doesn’t work on any level. The hair is lank, the dress (with sleeves) is dowdy and the crimson slash of lipstick dated. Time for Florence to rethink her style choices.
I totally agree, very unflattering hair. The dress looked better on E.R. Wood.

THIS is what I hate about red carpets lately. Is it really so tiresome and difficult to think the WHOLE outfit through? Or at least style Your hair to match the dress/occasion? Sheesh.

This collection is a Mess on and Off the Runway. Cavalli did a so much better version of the 20′s in his spring 2012 collection.

Agree. I’m her huge fan and love most of her (even the weirdest) apperances, but this time her hair were awful and sleeves was a big mistake…
