TIFF Menswear 2026
With Toronto Film Festival closing today, here is a final roundup of the menswear looks that have graced the festival.
The Man I Love Premiere
Rami Malek was the coolest man on this red carpet in Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann. The velvet suit could have been straightforward, but the blue printed shirt and matching tie give it far more personality. Tom Ford Penn sunglasses amplified the mood, while Tom Ford Dagger boots completed the look.

Wild Horse Nine Premiere
Joining his co-star Mariana di Girolamo, John Malkovich continued his good form from the Venice Film Festival wearing Giuliva Heritage.
I love the mustard-yellow suit on him, especially with the sharp contrast of the printed shirt, and it looks like his love for printed footwear was not a one-off. I’m here for it. Stylist Jeanne Yang really gets John Malkovich, from the labels she chooses to the way she leans into his individual sense of style and his taste for something a little unexpected.

YAGA Premiere
As you know, I wasn’t a fan of his previous ivory-on-cream look from Jacquemus, whereas the black and red combination from Nigerian designer Adebayo Oke-Lawal’s Orange Culture Fall 2026 collection feels much better suited to Hudson Williams. There’s more attitude here, and the sharper contrast immediately gives the look more impact.
Between the elongated silhouette of the jacket, the red shirt extending below the hem and the diamond tooth gems, I’m getting a distinct vampire vibe from this look. The Bvlgari ambassador completed his look with High Jewelry Serpenti pieces, but it’s the tooth jewelry – which are not Bvlgari – that really sell that idea.

La Bola Negra Premiere
Spanish actor Milo Quifes joined his co-star Penélope Cruz wearing Celine. This is classic suiting, with the paisley tie gives the black-and-white combination some personality, while the turned-back cuffs add a more contemporary styling touch.
Elsinore Premiere
Andrew Scott is usually a man who loves colour, but I’m not mad at the absence of his signature shades here. He keeps things interesting in this Giuliva Heritage look with a shawl-collar leather jacket that I want in my closet. Jimmy Choo Sawn loafers completed the look.

Club Kid Premiere
Jordan Firstman wore Loewe tailoring that, as impeccable as it is, may have gone under the radar had it not been for the matching satin shirt and lapels. We first saw this matchy approach during the Cannes Film Festival from the label, and it looks like we’ll be seeing more of it in the future.
Love Of Your Life Premiere
Patrick Schwarzenegger joined his co-star Margaret Qualley wearing a sleek, all-black Fendi Couture tuxedo. His 180 continues to impress me. I’m really enjoying seeing him back to his best.

Aaron Pierre almost always wears shades on the red carpet, which can sometimes give his looks a front-of-house security vibe, but his BOSS brown double-breasted suit, styled with a paisley tie and matching pocket square, ensures that isn’t the narrative on this occasion. The colours are sweeping me off my feet. They are such perfect autumn shades.

The Unknown Premiere
Niels Schneider wore Prada, pairing his navy double-breasted suit with a striped crew-neck top that took the look down a nautical lane. We all know how stylish the Schneider brothers are, and I like that he resisted the expected shirt and tie. The stripes give the tailoring a more relaxed feel while still looking right for a premiere.
