Hannah Einbinder Wore Bottega Veneta To HBO Max Emmy Event

Hannah Einbinder attended the HBO Max Emmy Nominee Celebration Event, held at NYA West in Hollywood on Sunday.

I feel like I’m in a bit of a funk when it comes to Hannah’s style of late, as nothing is really speaking to me at the moment, least of all this Bottega Veneta leather dress.

And the leather isn’t even the issue here. Much like my reaction to her last look, my first thought was simply that this dress doesn’t suit her.

The glam isn’t responsible either. It’s the dress itself. On Hannah, the high neckline feels especially heavy against her frame and does nothing for her natural ease. The turned-up sleeves read awkward, and overall, it just feels like the dress swallows her proportions, with too many competing design elements working against her rather than enhancing her.

The one detail I do like is the knot at the waist, which gives the dress a more interesting focal point, but it isn’t enough to save the overall look for me.

I think we need to go back to the drawing board and find a style lane that works for Hannah, because this isn’t it for me.
