‘Outer Banks’ Season 5 Fan Farewell Premiere

Netflix brought the cast of Outer Banks together at The Ford in Los Angeles on Saturday for the Season 5 event, Pogues For Life: A Fan Farewell. With the series heading into its final chapter, the cast marked the occasion with a mix of relaxed tailoring, archival fashion and summer dresses that felt right for an outdoor LA event.

Suit Yourself

Some might like that Drew Starkey resisted turning this Dior Spring 2027 look into a full off-white suit moment, but I’m team full suit. Then I look at those black Dior shoes, and suddenly the dark jeans don’t feel so bad.

Summer Colour Play

Madelyn Cline’s Siedrés Dalia dress was an interesting mix of pale yellow and green, but I have a feeling the beachy vibes might turn some of you off. You won’t be surprised that I’m here for the summery feel of it all. Paris Texas Lidia mules completed her look.

A Different Kind Of Bubble

Madison Bailey went in a completely different direction with her Taottao dress. Sadly, nothing about this works for me. I’m not convinced by the placement of that volume, as it creates an awkward proportion through the hips before opening at the front. I would only save the Gianvito Rossi beaded sandals.

Purple Reign

Lilah Pate’s deep purple Dior gown immediately stood apart from the lighter hues in this line-up.

Yes, this screams fall, and some might say it’s a bit mature for her, but I’m completely enamoured by the colour, the beaded floral embroidery and the elegance the scarf detail adds to the look. It’s unexpected in this line-up, but that’s exactly what makes it stand out.

McQueen From The Archive

We love an archival moment that feels current, and Carlacia Grant achieved that with this Alexander McQueen Spring 2003 peach draped dress.

The asymmetric draping, trailing panels and uneven hem give the dress an ease that works beautifully in this setting. The Jimmy Choo Minny sandals perfectly matched her skin tone, so no PVC sandals were required. This was my favourite alongside Lilah.

Sequins In The Sunshine

Nikki Rodriguez wore Tory Burch, with the iridescent sequins dancing in the sunlight. It’s simple, youthful and fun.

Sculpted In Cream

Miku Martineau’s DATT gown was easily one of the more distinctive silhouettes.

There’s an almost shell-like quality to the construction, which makes the monochrome look far more interesting than it might initially appear, but some might feel that, regardless of the detailing, it’s still too one-note.
