Anne Hathaway Wore Dior To ‘The Odyssey’ London Premiere

Anne Hathaway joined her cast-mates for The Odyssey press tour at the film’s world premiere at London’s Odeon Luxe Leicester Square this evening.

We weren’t sold on her photocall look, but this dreamy baby-blue Dior gown more than made up for it.

Softly pleated from top to hem, the empire-waist silhouette made perfect sense for this stage of her pregnancy, allowing the fabric to fall beautifully while creating an elegant, elongated line.

The blue floral detail blooming from the empire waist immediately caught my eye. It mirrored the blue appliqué on Mia Goth’s Dior look, although I suspect that was simply a happy coincidence.

What also struck me was how different this felt from the last time Anne stood on this very red carpet. Just two months and two weeks ago, she was here promoting The Devil Wears Prada 2 in an Atelier Versace look built around sculptural high glamour. Tonight, Dior took her in a completely different direction. The soft pleating, flowing silhouette and delicate blue palette felt perfectly in tune with this new chapter.

The beauty styling reinforced that shift. Her softly swept-back hair, luminous makeup and Bvlgari jewels complemented the romance of the dress.
