Anne Hathaway Wore Blumarine To ‘The Odyssey’ London Photocall

Anne Hathaway, who stars in Christopher Nolan’s epic The Odyssey as Penelope, the Queen of Ithaca and devoted wife of Matt Damon’s Odysseus, joined Zendaya for the photocall at IET London: Savoy Place this afternoon.

Her Blumarine Resort 2027 high-low dress, with its cascading ruffles and sheer sleeves, kept the look light enough for a warm summer afternoon.

Where the look lost me was with the footwear.

The taupe suede over-the-knee Gianvito Rossi Hansen Cuissard boots shifted the mood entirely. Instead of complementing the softness of the dress, they pushed the outfit towards that familiar Sienna Miller-meets-Chloé festival aesthetic.

Boots aren’t necessarily the wrong idea; they’re just the wrong type of boot here. The colour and the slouchiness feels disconnected from the rest of the outfit.

I personally would have preferred silver sandals.
